Another one for the animal nicknames list, Savoldelli ('the falcon'), now one of Ullrich's uber domestiques for his Tour push. The picture on the left was taken at the 2000 Giro d'Italia, Savoldelli was struggling to catch the lead group on the Gavia which included Di Luca, Garzelli and Rubiera (riding for Kelme at the time).
On a darker note Gaumont (Cofidis) has been reported to have admitted doping [ Velonews ][ Le Soir (thanks JB) ].Comments:
