Another fine day ...
Out to Hook in Hampshire today on a one-wayer to catch up with some friends. Its about 2hrs from Guildford to Hook via Compton, Puttenham, Seale and Long Sutton. The weather was excellent and this time I was dressed appropriately. I am trying to concentrate on getting out regularly at the moment rather than worry about hours or distance, but one thing that has really helped is not having a computer on my 'winter' bike. It's OK having your average/current speed flashing at you mid-season when your cruising along but early season times and speed do nothing to boost your confidence and unless you meticulously monitor your everyday performance its kinda good just to let up and enjoy being out, especially on days like today. Good news also, the new work-place has showers on-site so no excuses not to get on the bike to work.Comments:
