After a long period as the current vote the Climber/Sprinter survey racked up plenty of hits. Cipollini may have made sprinting the glamorous discipline but you riders still prefer the thought of soaring effortlessly over the cols leaving the mortals wheezing in the valleys.

In light of what I think is the sad news that we may never see Jan Ullrich ride the Tour de France again, the new vote asks if you are really that bothered, or should we just move on and find some new stars to shout about.
