Happy Christmas, here's to the New Year!
Cycling and Herneweb have been taking a back seat in the second half of the year as we have settled into parenthood. The year started with 6 excellent months of cycling and then the arrival of our daughter refocused my energy elsewhere. I haven't regretted a single missed ride (or missed blog post) but as things have settled down I am managing to get out on the bike with increasing frequency and I hope I will be back to writing and posting more often.
I have inevitably lost some fitness and gained some weight, but I'm not too worried about it and have already set myself a challenge for early in the New Year to motivate me over the winter. We will be riding the 150km White Horse Challenge in Wiltshire next April.
I'll keep posted on progress but in the meantime, here's wishing you a very Happy Christmas and all the best for your cycling in the New Year.
