[ posted by Iain Thursday, October 16, 2003 ] Oh well, it was nice while it lasted, but today it was reported that Jean-Marie Leblanc has chosen the start town for the 2006 Tour de France and its not London [ Eurosport article ]. Quite disappointing really after all the buzz in the press. Still, there is something to look forward to. The Tour of Britain [ Milk Race ] is set to return next year [ see cyclingnews 22-08-2003 ]. Maybe once the UK demonstrate that they can put together and run a succesful national race, it will seem more attractive to the Tour de France. I shall start flagging up any news articles about the "Tour of Britain" developments.
