June 2006 is Millartime!

David Millar had his ban backdated today although the CAS have upheld his two year suspension [
Eurosport ]. This means that he can now return in June 2006 and potentially be set for a return to the Tour de France 2006. Millar I'm sure will see this as £16,000 pounds of the BCF funds well spent, I wonder if he won a stage he would consider reimbursing them?
Great Debate

So who was the greatest ever cyclist?
Here's something that might help clear up the argument. Regardless of era the top twenty five riders are all roughly at the same level except number one, guess who?

Eddy Merckx has been getting a bit more than his usual coverage in the cycling press recently what with the
rumours about his weight loss and the need for stories in the off season. L'Equipe have put together a nice a simple tribute to the Cannibal in their
Hall of Fame(16 nice photos accompanied by some captions) and on the subject of halls of fame
here's another great site with all sorts of cycling trivia [
