Survived the first week

[ posted by iain Monday, March 28, 2005 ] First week in the new job is over and I have managed to sort out the biking to work bit. It's about a 25 minute ride (down one hill, up one other) and although the traffic is busy the bike lanes through from north Guildford are actually pretty effective. Ok, so it's not Milan - San Remo but coupled with some regular evening rides it will increase my mid-week mileage which is just what I need at the moment. My new employer has also agreed to honour my holiday at the end of May, which is great news because I'm planning to be out in Italy for the Giro. Great news for the British track team this weekend with Hayles finally getting a gold.
