Culture Shock

My inactivity on the blog has not entirely reflected my inactivity on the bike this week. I have managed to get out fairly regularly since returning from holiday but work and social events have both played their part in keeping me from riding daily, however things should be back to normal tomorrow.
One measure of my neglect came as a rather nasty shock. Having used the same water bottle for riding all week I discovered an unwashed bottle from last weekends ride hiding in a corner. Needless to say its contents were definitely 'non-potable' and its culture level was well above that of the Big Brother household. So it was down to Boots to pick up the Milton which is now at work on the bottle in the kitchen sink. Tim Moore's recollections of percolating guts in French Revolutions crack me up, but it's not something I want to experience first hand.
