Flash-Point wheel test and blogging

I am really pleased to have been offered the opportunity to take part in the "Fanatics" sponsorship programme for the new Zipp designed Flash-Point wheels. Flash-Point have developed 2 flavours of the carbon/aluminum wheels, the FP-40s (40mm depth) and the FP-60s (59mm depth).
I will be riding the deep rim FP-60s and writing about my experiences on the Flash-Point website along with nine other riders and the Flash-Point development team.
As the programme picks up I hope to be writing lots more, both here and on the "Fanatics" blog. So, if you're interested in some affordable performance carbon wheels, watch this space.

Despite numerous setbacks, the long awaited film version of Graeme Obree's book seems to be getting closer to the screen. Towards the end of the year there were more problems for the production but apparently these should not affect the release [
article at Scottish Cycling ]. Chris Boardman is being played by an actor called Adrian Smith but I can't find any further information on him at them moment.

After an initial surge of good intentions with most voters indicating they were putting in more miles this winter the more pounds votes crept up over the weeks. The good news is more of you are holding out against winters efforts to keep you house-bound.
