Liggett Supports Landis
Thanks to Michael Choy for the heads up on the story they ran recently interviewing Phil Liggett, Voice Of The Tour De France Supports Floyd Landis. There's a nice video interview and it's interesting to hear his take on the Landis affair.
Phil Liggett was the voice of cycling when I first got interested in road riding, around about the time Ullrich won the Tour. I don't get the chance to listen to his commentary much any more because the UK terrestrial TV cycling coverage is so limited; hopefully we'll hear a bit more from him as the UK start for the Tour de France gets more media exposure.

Very disappointing to read the news that Jan Ullrich has retired from professional cycling. It would have been good to see him saying goodbye from the road rather than a press conference.
